I’m lucky to get to work with This Patch Of Sky on occasion. As friends and supporters of each other’s music, we certainly talk about collaborating a lot… And sometimes actually do.

Kit Day of This Patch Of Sky would tell you that this video isn’t ready and that the sound needs work, but I hope he won’t mind the sneak peak for visitors of my website and fans searching the web for This Patch Of Sky live recordings. I’m happy with how this video looks, warts and all, as an ode to winter in the Pacific Northwest. The nature footage in the video was recorded the morning after the show, in one of my most ambitious video shoots to date. Thanks to Kyle Taisacan and Katie Bailey for their motivation to get out into the blistering cold that morning, after a late night of post-rock and beers, so that I could have footage that fit the music so effortlessly.
