I thought seriously about making Hillbility the first track on my 2015 debut album from The Adaptive. The song won the hearts and minds of several friends, family members, and strangers across the world. It’s an ode to my musical influences growing up in the western United States, and an unusually upbeat song for The Adaptive.

“Evolve” was an exploration into sound design, live improvisation, and ideas that turned into full songs between 2013 and 2015. These songs were recorded in Beaverton, Oregon and Portland, Oregon.
